The membership year starts on 1st January and covers the calendar and financial year through to 31st December each year.
All members are welcome – no experience required!
All volunteers working in the Sturt Gorge must be a member of Friends of Sturt Gorge in order to be covered by insurance. National Parks and Wildlife will do not permit any work in the park with out appropriate insurance cover.
Members will receive:
- Free Conservation and Bushcare training
- Free advice and ongoing support from experienced local conservationists
Current membership fees are $10 (for Single or Joint Membership at the same address)
This fee provides financial support for the work of the Friends, covers your insurance for joining any of our activities, gives you access to free training, and allows us to provide you with safety equipment and tools at working bees, as well as the quarterly newsletter
